Amazing Book by an Amazing Man!
Beautifully laid out functional anatomy reflective of the principles of Osteopathy that simplifies a complex subject. Easy to understand and make the connections between techniques and intentions for results. A must have!!!!
I ordered this book right away and have been reading it keenly for the past week. There is such a small amount of literature on GOT, and it is truly an unrecognized gem of Osteopathy. This book presented a generous amount of information, well written and illustrated, and should find its way to more practitioner libraries. Robert Johnston is indeed a credit to the profession for this offering, thank you sir!
Provides the full outline and explanation of a general osteopathic treatment, from assessment to diagnosis and treatment. Explains the founding principles of Osteopathy and along with the guidelines for different techniques, gives the osteopath the tools needed to adapt the treatment to almost any patients needs. Fantastic diagrams displaying all the nerves, blood supply, and lymphatics that are affected by each manipulation. Very helpful in giving the studying osteopath a real idea of how much effect they can have on the body and it's structures.
Looking forward to any future works put out by Mr. Johnston!
